You chose the time & location… and then leave the rest to our professionally trained & accredited stylists who will rock up with all that’s needed** to unleash the goodness that is AquaLoc4cee by DrB! A scientifically formulated natural product set that is specifically designed to carefully protect & grow your Afro coils & Locks the Way Mother Nature Intended.

We only work with your natural Afro hair… no hairpieces/braids, no heat, combs or chemicals that damage your delicate Afro coils and stop your hair from growing strong and healthy.

**your stylist will only ask you for about 20L of clean warm water either from a kettle or a tap, and a drain to discard the used water.

1. Navigate to the 'shop products' tab on the AquaLoc4cee™ by DrB!  Website and select AquaLoc4cee™ by DrB! Mobile Hairdresser Service.
   
2. Using the 'available options' drop-down list, select desired hairstyle from (i) Afro - Twist/Twist-Out Singles, (ii) Afro - Flat Twist Cornrows, (iii) Dreadlocks - Maintain New Growth, or (iv) Dreadlocks - Start Locks from Scratch.
3. Add to shopping basket.
4. Using the 'available options' drop-down list, select your preferred day of the week (current availability is Tuesdays, Saturdays & Sundays). Currently servicing areas within a 20km radius of Sandton CBD.
5. Add to shopping basket.
6. Proceed to checkout and enter your contact details & service delivery address, and in the comments box specify your preferred date(s) & time(s), as well as the description of the state your hair will be in when the stylist arrives on the day of your treatment. Budget 2-3hrs to ensure a gentle non-rushed handling of your fragile Afro coils.

*Travel fee is charged based on e-hailing rates to your specific location. You will be advised of the applicable travel fee, which should be paid in order to confirm your booking.

1. Sleep on silk/satin covered pillow or wear silk/satin scarf to avoid the drying effect of cotton pillowcases or hair accessories on hair. Satin fabric is shiny on one side and matt on the other. No nightly plaiting is necessary.
2. Use a shower cap when showering to avoid disrupting the crinkled hair pattern/style by getting hair twists wet/damp.
3. No need to reapply the AquaLoc4cee™ Hair Butter - the hair will retain the hair butter (especially if applied generously enough during hair washing) until the next wash day - which could be some 6 -8 weeks away!
4. In between hair wash days, you can switch between the twist/twist-in and the twist-out looks as frequently as you wish without needing to wet hair or reapply co-wash & hair butter. 
5. For your next hair wash day, re-use the existing sections of hair to avoid having to re-open lines/sections, so that you can just get on with 'detangling & twisting with Co-Wash, rinsing twists, untwisting & moisture-locking with Hair Butter & re-twisting your hair' into the fuss-free 'GetUp&Go! Twist-Out/Twist-In hairstyle!
6. For shorter hair, work with smaller sections of hair - i.e. just enough hair to make a twist. You can then rock your short twist-out Afro as is without the need for a comb... **this hair was not meant for it!
7. To get your AquaLoc4cee™ journey started, use the Co-Wash to section hair by parting hair in the middle to form two halves, then split the halves into four sections, then split each quarter into four more sections... continue until you reach the appropriate twist size for your length of hair. Detangle each section with Co-Wash, split it into two, twist, rinse, untwist & moisture lock with Hair Butter, re-twist and you're well on your way to a fuss-free 'GetUp&Go! Twist-Out/Twist-In hairstyle!
8. You can also get your AquaLoc4cee™ journey started by using the hair sections left over after you take off your braids. Just detangle each section with Co-Wash, split it into two, twist, rinse, untwist & moisture lock with Hair Butter, re-twist and you're well on your way to a fuss-free 'GetUp&Go! Twist-Out/Twist-In hairstyle!
9. You can also get your AquaLoc4cee™ journey started by using the hair sections left over after you take off your plaits or cornrows. Just detangle each row with Co-Wash, split off enough hair to make a twist. Keep detangling & twisting rows until entire head is in rows of co-wash twists, rinse, untwist one twist at a time, moisture lock with Hair Butter, and re-twist into singles or flat twists cornrows. Twists are better and gentler on your fragile coils hair that plaits... see**
10. 11. For cases of traction alopecia - hairline/patchy hair loss, the best thing you can do is to IMMEDIATELY STOP heating or pulling on your hair, and give your scalp's immune system a chance to calm down and stop perpetually trying to repair the damage you keep causing by pulling your hair out of its roots, which will eventually result in formation of scar tissue (shiny skin) from which hair never grows. If you can't bear to expose your damaged hair, find yourself a suitable stylish wig and use it while treating your recovering growing hair to all the natural goodness you'll find in the AquaLoc4cee™ Co-Wash & Hair Butter treatment.
12. AquaLoc4cee™ Hair Butter is not suitable or stable for use with heat treatments - in fact **heat & chemical treatments are damaging to coily Afro Type 4 Hair - the only hair type that grows towards the sun!
