*Use AQLFC Conditioning Wash instead of the shampoos provided in hotel rooms as these dry Afro hair & scalp. Follow that up with application of the hair and scalp nourishing AQLFC Hair Butter and you’ll never suffer from dry hair & scalp or dandruff again - that’s a promise!
**Use AQLFC Beard & Razor Bump Butter to soften a dry beard and to prevent ingrown hairs & razor bumps - a common affliction in individuals with Afro hair due to coiled nature of their hair & beards. Avoid alcohol-based aftershave lotions as these dry hair and increase the chances of getting razor bumps or ingrown hairs.
***All AQLFC Skin & Nail Care Butters are great for use on excessively dry/cracked skin and nails, and on eczema-prone skin. Avoid glycerin-containing lotions & soaps as these dry the skin. Glycerin is hygroscopic, meaning that it sucks moisture from its surroundings, and in the absence of moisture in the air such as during dry winter months, it will draw moisture from skin (& Afro hair), leaving it dry. Avoid using highly-foaming sulphate-containing shower gels/foam baths (& shampoos). Sulphates are foaming degreasing agents that strip skin (& hair) of its protective natural oils, leaving it dry & cracked (or brittle). So if it foams like dishwashing liquid, it’s not good for your skin (& Afro hair).
